The word faith is in the Bible 250  times depending on the version.

The word stand is used 669 times. Found it interesting.  Stand firm, stand watch.  Stand on the rock, stand here and there.

Watch was used 115 times.  How about guard…many times but could not find in the context I was looking for.

These are clearly all important and not always easy for me.

1 Corinthians 16:13
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.

Having faith in Christ is courageous, and demands dependence upon the Lord. Romans 12:2 (NKJV) says, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Each day you have a decision to make. Will you stand firm as the fiery arrows of evil seek to deceive and sabotage your faith? Can you choose living in the light of Christ today over the desires of the flesh? The answer is YES. Live transformed, live renewed, live free in Christ Jesus.
