Son or Daughter?

Galatians 4:3-7
So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world.  But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,  to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.  Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.”  So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.
COMMENTARY
Luke 15:21-23 describes the return of the lost son in Jesus’ parable: “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate.’” The robe and the ring signify a restoration to sonship. Likewise, we are called heavenward as sons and daughters of the Most High, and the gift of the Holy Spirit is our seal of that truth in Christ. Romans 8:17 says, “Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.”
If you are not in the family of God yet, what are you waiting on?  Now is the time!
THANK YOU JESUS!
