A Time For Everything

Have you ever done something and a week later you want to kick yourself for what seemed the logical choice at the time?  I think we all have.  We all must make a decision about life and death.  It will come

Revelation 20:11-15
Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

You want your name in the book of life. When this day comes, it will be too late to change your mind about how you lived, whether you chose to believe or not, and there will be no room for regret. Even the dead stand before Christ to be judged. Death and Hades themselves are thrown into the lake of fire to be consumed. From this passage, there does not appear to be any way back from the lake of fire. Go for the book of life now – believe in Jesus!
