Psalm 63:1-4
When he was in the Desert of Judah. You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you;I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you,in a dry and parched land where there is no water.  I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.  Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.
David is in the desert, thirsty for the Lord. Here we see worship of God and dependence on God infused in David’s life. Spend some time today meditating on vs. 3 and 4. God’s love is our life, because His love bought our life in Christ! Let praise spill authentically from your heart today in response to our God’s great, unfailing, and relentless love!
