These verses in Isaiah say it all wonderfully. If in need today, seek Him, cry out to Him and ask Him. Life can be hard and scary and hurtful but we are not alone in our affliction.
In that day you will say:“I will praise you, Lord. Although you were angry with me,your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. ” With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. In that day you will say:“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.
Because of Jesus, God’s anger has turned away from us. We are saved and can trust in God because of Christ. God is 3 persons in perfect unity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These 3 embody a perfect love relationship, and with Christ’s sacrifice on the cross to pay the cost of sin (there had to be payment), we are now offered as a gift, the Holy Spirit who seals us in Christ. There is no “well of salvation” (vs. 3, NIV) without Jesus. Redemptive History unfolds to reveal God’s unyielding mercy and glory! Relationship with God is through Jesus alone!
