No, Not One Single Thing!

Romans 8:38-39

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    • Me neither! I know that if I didn’t have the hope we have in Jesus Christ that I would have taken my own life because why be here in this messy sad place if we didn’t have a Saviour? Then again many just don’t see it. They are wrapped up in selfish desires and don’t want to know or open their eyes to the persecution that is going on in the world. They would rather be lulled to sleep by the reality TV shows and what the elite might be doing in Hollywood. This morning in church we were in Revelation 3. Church of Sardis. WAKE UP! Even those doing good can end up being so busy with THINKING they a tree righteous that they don’t realize they aren’t walking with God, not that they are lost but so busy they have neglected to spend time with the Lord. WAKE UP and repent or you might be caught unaware when He returns. (Clearly my paraphrasing.) It was a wake up call or a CHECK yourself call. We must keep our relationship with Jesus Christ healthy and first or all of our good deeds mean nothing to the Lord.
The one who has come to steal, kill and destroy would have liked nothing more than to have me take my own life. I have been so down and sad before that it seemed like the only choice, the best choice but again, I continued to cry out to the Lord in my distress and He carried me through. I am thankful and I am thankful for all of the hard times and sad times because those are the times that the Lord God had held me the tightest and I have grown the most in Him. “Refined by the fire “, so to speak. Thank you Jesus!
