Mommy, How Much Do You Love Me?

How many times have you said or heard it said,- I LOVE YOU FROM HERE TO THE MOON AND BACK…!?
Yet, the Lord loves us so much more!

Isaiah 49:14-16
But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me.”  “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
God loves us in an incredible way. The analogy in this verse of a woman and a nursing baby is meant to reflect that intimacy, a terribly deep sense of meaningful relationship. I hope that in many cases, parents think of their children fondly and live for them – as Jesus both “lived” and “lives” for us. This is not to mean that Jesus exists only for our purpose, but as we are created in the image of God, we are to live 100% for Him! He never leaves us or forsakes us.
