Seeking The One Who Created Us

Psalm 42:1-11 KJV

As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

[2] My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

[3] My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?

[4] When I remember these things , I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.

[5] Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

[6] O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar.

[7] Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.

[8] Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.

[9] I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

[10] As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God?

[11] Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

“2017 BIBLE PROPHECY — A NIGHTMARE WORLD — THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS”

CAUTION!  BE PREPARED FOR THE WICKEDNESS YOU WILL SEE.

BEFORE WATCHING,  please read this portion of scripture.  It is where the Lord God takes Ezekiel into the places where many evil things are done in secret. (It was immediately what I thought of.)  God gave mercy on us and give us boldness in the days ahead!)

Ezekiel 8

8 And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord God fell there upon me. Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber. And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy. And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.  Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry. He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations. And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall. Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door. And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here. So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about. And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up. Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth. He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.  Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord’s house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz. Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these. And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east. Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose. Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

TESTIFY!

Does anyone ever have this battle going on within yourself?  You know, bad days at work, frustration.  Toss in a sprinkle of hot sauce and a whole bagful of the insanity we keep watching daily and I begin to get a little distraught.  I begin to feel great saddness.  Not over leaving this mess of a place but for all those who are so lost and clueless.  Then I get frustrated and mad and have a pity party.  I have thoughts in my head like ‘what kind of Christian are you?  Christians should be happy and joyous!  Maybe you aren’t.’  I ran across these verses and realized that we do get down.   1St Peter 1:2-7 My focusbis on 6 and 7 here.

6..We greatly rejoice  (about verse 5), though now for a SEASON,  IF NEED BE, ye are in HEAVINESS through manifold temptations:

Of course then it goes on to say that the trial of our faith is…..
Trials are hard, tests are hard.  They are normally stressful and often an internal struggle.   Thank God for the hope that we have in Christ Jesus! Repent for my lousy attitude and pick myself up and get back in the race!  After all, we  are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses , let us lay aside every weight , and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and run the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Hebrews 12:2-2…
Hallelujah and praise the Lord God and Amen!

“Special Prophecy Update “Encourage One Another” Ephesians 4:16-5:11 – June 18th, 2017” Pastor JD Farag

Under Attack!

This weekend I spent a lot of alone time with my Saviour.   It was time well spent.

Yesterday I had told a fellow sister in Christ and a blogger that I know I had fallen down as of late regarding spending time in prayer.   Today the following verse came to me via my daily verse on my phone.   The commentary came with it.  Couldn’t be more fitting.   Not to mention that about two weeks ago I used the verse that is noted in the commentary to encourage a brother in Christ.  The day after I had given it to him I continued to know it was also for me and it had been on my mind.  Today it is all combined in one.

God is so good to me…all the time!

Colossians 4:2
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

Commentary

Devotion to prayer applies to our everyday lives and is vital to our relationship with Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Through prayer we share our hearts with God, and He wants to speak to us as well. It is a two way conversation, and a lifeline of our faith. In 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, “Rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:

He leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul:

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;

Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:

Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Israel’s Only Savior (Isaiah 42:43)

43 But now thus says the Lord,
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.

Where is Hope – God . . . are You there?

Psalm 65:2-4

2. You who answer prayer, to You all people will come.

3. When we were overwhelmed by sins, You forgave our transgressions.

4. Blessed are those You choose and bring near to live in Your courts!

We are filled with the good things of Your house, of Your holy temple.

Job 19:7

“Though I cry, ‘Violence!’ I get no response; though I call for help, there is no justice.

Job 19:10

He tears me down on every side till I am gone; He uproots my hope like a tree.

Psalm 5:2

Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to You I pray.

Ephesians 6:18

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Dear Father which art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.  As we come humbly before You Lord, we lift our hands to You and we praise the name of the Jesus.  We exalt thy most holy name.  Dear Lord we adore You yet we have not physically seen You with our eyes. We believe in You. We have faith in You and Your mighty power! We trust You! We have our hope in You!

Heavenly Father, we ask You to help any of us who is lacking in faith.  Maybe we have been beat down, worn out, walked over. Maybe some have prayed and prayed and feel like You are no longer listening to our voices.  We have all been there Lord.  Reveal Yourself to them who desperately are seeking You.  Speak to them who continue to cry out to You. Lord rescue the one who feels they cannot go on one more day. Give them Your strength in their weakness.  Help them to just hold on one more day.

Lord, fill those who are hungry, fill their stomachs. Fill the one with Your peace who is being tortured internally by anxiety.  Give them the peace as You give and not the false peace that the world promises. The world keeps us searching and seeking the peace, the hope, the joy that cannot be filled by anyone or anything but You!

Lord God, help us to know within our souls that when we pray that You do hear us. You are listening to us. Give us the steadfast spirit and the assurance that even if we do not get the answers we seek that it might only mean we need to ask and pray differently.  Sometimes in our selfishness we think are are seeking the right things. Help us oh Lord to look at things from a different perspective. You know what is best for us or for another individual. Help us to see that even when we are in great despair.   Help us to keep praying always and not to lose hope and to continue to give thanks even when we do not understand.  Your word says in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24 ….. 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 GIVE THANKS in ALL CIRCUMSTANCES; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.  19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt 21 but test them all; hold on to what is good, 22 reject every kind of evil.  23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 The one who calls you is faithful, and  He will do it.

Lord, we lift all our brothers and sisters up to You.  We lift up Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu and pray that the elections that are about to happen, that we will know and accept that Your will was accomplished regardless of our own desires. We know that You are always just and You know exactly what You are doing.  We do have hope that at the end of our road we can always look back and see why things had to work like You planned.  It is not all about us but it is about bringing glory to You! Our Creator! The I Am!  You know exactly what You are doing and we do not need to fear simply because we are not in control, because we never were.  YOU on the other hand always have been.  We ask Father that those of us with lost children will find their way to You.

Thank You for blessing us with Your word.  Your word sustains us. It teaches us.  It is living.  It is true!  It gives us HOPE….the hope that is found only in You.  In the name of Christ Jesus we give thanks for all these things. We praise You for You are most worthy!  Amen.

Who are you…

Who are you keeping your mind and thoughts on?  Who are you keeping your eyes on?  If you are more involved in the latest TV show or what the celebrities are up to and you have no idea on what is happening around you then I you may be on your way to being deceived.  Today may I encourage you to seek the Lord with all your heart and soul.

Ephesians 2:4-7
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,  made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.  And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,  in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

COMMENTARY
Salvation is a gift from God – it is by grace that you are saved. There is nothing we can do, no great feat of selflessness or charity, which qualifies us worthy to be in the presence of God. We are qualified only because of the riches of His mercy, and because Jesus laid down His life for all of us. By grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone we are raised from death to life and display the glorious wealth of His grace. All of this is possible because of love, “because of His great love with which He loved us”. (NKJV)

What Do I Do?

20130101-183814.jpg

Wow! Too much is going on. I try to stay informed and get totally depressed so that I cannot even function.

Pray, that is all I know to do. Please join me. Here is a section of my favorite…..

Isaiah 55
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.

9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

12 You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
