Is the USA in the Bible? Great American Eclipse Aug 21st, 2017 a Real End Time Sign?

I have watched many different things on this subject.   I have dug into the scriptures on this subject.  I  may not always agree with everything this pastor speaks,  but then I don’t agree 100% with any pastor.   I will say that he said some things that I hadn’t heard until this video.   I pray everyone would listen to and at least consider what he says and pray about it and as we are always told to fo, KEEP WATCHING AND LOOKING UP!

WARNING – Deception is All Around – Are You Watching – You Decide for Yourself

Another Jesus, Spirit, Gospel (Pastor Charles Lawson)

Powerful!   This gave me a renewed passion to pray for those I love so dearly that are lost.   God works in amazing ways!

Sandra Solomon: From Islam to Christ (Palestinian Ex-Muslim Testimony)

Beautiful testimony. ..moving from darkness to the light.  The true light.  Not a light that can be blown out but a light that will shine brightly wherever it goes!  Jesus Christ still lives!  He is still coming to all to seek Him, to all who cry out to Him, to any who hear Him knocking on their hearts !  He loves you and wants to come in.  You have to ask Him, you have to open the door and don’t give up, keep seeking the only One who has the power to save!  God bless you all.  God is not finished yet!

Shhh… Did You Hear?

Even so come…Lord Jesus come!

Prayer and Listening

Goes hand in hand with the post I made a few minutes ago.  Pray more AND listen.

Ezekiel 3:10
And he said to me, “Son of man, listen carefully and take to heart all the words I speak to you.
COMMENTARY
Communicating with God is a two-way street. As we pray and cast ourselves before the throne of grace, we must remember to listen. Throughout the entire bible, we read story upon story of how God speaks to various people. Even more, remember that the Holy Spirit of God resides within us and is always on guard and poised to bring us a Word from the Lord. Listening serves two purposes, first off it shows God that you want to hear from Him. Second, it is a great tool to slow down our thoughts and not rush through prayer or other time we’ve committed to God alone.

Motives When Asking God

image

When asking the Lord for confirmation of something,  many say you shouldn’t and that is like questioning Him.  We must have the correct motives.  Seeking Him with all our heart and truly wanting His wisdom and guidance.   God will gladly answer that.   We see that in the scriptures below.

Judges 6:36-38
Gideon said to God, “If you will save Israel by my hand as you have promised—  look, I will place a wool fleece on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece and all the ground is dry, then I will know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you said.”  And that is what happened. Gideon rose early the next day; he squeezed the fleece and wrung out the dew—a bowlful of water.

COMMENTARY
Gideon is in the middle of a “doubting Thomas” moment here with God.  This makes me think of when the Pharisees would ask Jesus for a sign, and he would refuse them because of their motives.  Gideon wants to trust God fully, and this is an exercise in trust to build Gideon’s faith in God.  Gideon’s heart was open to God, and that served him well.  The hearts of the Pharisees and Jewish leaders of Jesus’ time; their hearts were not open to God.  They sought signs that served their own selfish motives, not God’s sovereign plan of redemption.

THEN WE HAVE..

Judges 6:39-40
Then Gideon said to God, “Do not be angry with me. Let me make just one more request. Allow me one more test with the fleece, but this time make the fleece dry and let the ground be covered with dew.”  That night God did so. Only the fleece was dry; all the ground was covered with dew.

COMMENTARY
Yesterday, we saw God graciously respond to Gideon’s request for a sign.  Today, we see Gideon ask for another sign regarding the fleece, and God AGAIN responds with affirmation that He will deliver Israel through Gideon.  This asking for a 2nd sign reveals a sense of how far God is willing to go for His children, and how willing and honest we can be with God as we walk with Him and are led by Him into the plans He has for us.  God is ever-revealing Himself to all people in so many ways.  Gideon was willing to share his need honestly, and God again extends grace and confirms the plan.

Created or Evolved? Which are You?

WARNING. ..WARNING. ..WARNING

Are you a proclaimed atheist?   What will you say when you stand before your Creator?   7 minutes…watch,  listen,  take a chance. Ask God the Father in Heaven to lift the veil from your eyes if He is real!

What have you got to lose if I  am wrong?

What will you gain if I am right?

Just as I cannot see or know your good or your bad thoughts, there is one who already knows everything about you.  More than even you know yourself.

Why does God open our eyes on one day and yet you cried out many times before and got crickets?   I asked that same question many times in my own life.  Sometimes we don’t know that answer.  I don’t fully understand it concerning my own life.   Maybe I really wasn’t ready when I cried out in need before.  Maybe for me it was more of a process of getting to the place where you know that you know that you know. Some people seem to just be changed immediately and others like me need a slower molding process.  Mold put on the fire and heat me up and mold me a little more and heat me up and mold me a little more.

I don’t have to know why because I trust the Lord God knows way more about what He is doing than I do. I clearly screw things when left to my own devices.

Verse to Quiet the Soul

Psalm 23:1-3a
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.  He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,  he refreshes my soul.

COMMENTARY
A shepherd looks after the well-being of his flock. Even though this is true, sheep sometimes wander. Our verse today comes from a sheep who recognizes the goodness of his shepherd, and lives covered under his care. There is a promise to meet our needs, a promise of restoration, and a promise of relationship; not only in this Psalm, but throughout scripture. Our amazing shepherd, Jesus Christ, has led us to salvation and he has promised rest for those for those who come to Him. This is not a rest promising an easy life, but it is rest with our Father who yearns to shepherd and restore us.

Time is Ticking

image

Malachi 3:16-18
Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name.  “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him.  And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.
COMMENTARY
Fear and trembling accompany today’s promise: Our Father in Heaven is compassionate and will spare those who “feared the Lord and honored his name”. (NIV) It is made very clear also that there will be a distinction between the righteous and the wicked. Do not lose sight of the fact that our only hope of righteousness lies in faith in the Son of God; that is Christ Jesus. Romans 3:22-23: “This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. (NIV)
