Breaking It Down – Psalm 1:1

Psalm 1:1 KJVS

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

My thoughts : First part of the verse, saying if you walk NOT in the council of those who are ungodly. Let’s simply say; we shouldn’t be heeding the advice of those who clearly don’t know God and His word. If you find yourself needing help in direction concerning a life problem, we should pray, seek answers as we read the word of God. If we find we need more discernment then seek truly godly friends out, seek council from a good pastor or seek christian counseling. (If you are going with a christian counselor it us important to ask about what type of belief they have. What makes them put “christian” in the title of their work. All those calling themselves christian are not all the same. If you are a rose and your counselor is a daisy, you are both flowers but are clearly different flowers altogether. Some Christians may have more ‘new age’ doctrine and if you are truly following Jesus Christ of the bible you certainly don’t want to get any direction from a new age belief system. (Only saying don’t fall prey to anyone calling themselves christian.)

The next part: nor standing in the way of sinners.

What exactly does that mean? Possibly it means not to constantly be nagging a loved one concerning their choices. If they are not saved but are living in the world they simply are not going to gain anything out of YOU telling them constantly that they are going to burn in hell if they do this or that. We can let them know what we believe and why and then just live our lives accordingly so they can SEE what that looks like. While it is hard to watch those we love make bad choices I think we should pray for them and just be there for them on that day they approach you and ask, “so why are you happy, or is your God really able to help me, or I know you are a seemingly good person so what would you do?” When desperate they will go to a person they can trust and not all those friends who let them down. Don’t burn your bridge by being a I TOLD YOU TO STOP YOUR WICKED WAYS. Maybe that also goes into the last part too. Don’t sit in the seat of the scornful. Sometimes we can get on our so called high horse if not careful and humble. Remember we are living in a world full of unbelievers. We can’t just say…you better do this or that and expect them to suddenly awake to the truth of God. Be an example everyday. Sometimes we try to scare them into heaven. Unless the Holy Spirit penetrates their heart they won’t GET IT. Don’t be angry because they ignore or push you away. Simply, pray always for their salvation and seek God and if given an opportunity to share then pray you are prepared.

Guatemala Announces It Will Relocate Its Embassy To Jerusalem

Copied from Behold Israel

President Morales announced Guatemala’s embassy would move to Israel’s capital, Jerusalem; Reports claim Honduras may as well; Netanyahu: I told you recently that there will be other countries that would recognize Jerusalem and announce the transfer of their embassies to it… It is only the beginning and it is important. Dec. 25, 2017.

Guatemala announced it would move its embassy to Jerusalem on Sunday night.

President of Guatemala, Jimmy Morales, announced his country would relocate its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem after holding a conversation with Prime Minister Netanyahu.

He wrote Sunday “Dear people of Guatemala, today I spoke with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. We are talking about the excellent relations that we have had as nations since Guatemala supported the creation of the State of Israel. One of the most important topics was the return of the embassy of Guatemala to Jerusalem. So I inform you that I have instructed the chancellor to initiate the respective coordination so that it may be. God bless you.”

Guatemala was one of the nine states that voted against the United Nations General Assembly resolution submitted to the special emergency session on Jerusalem.

Turkey and Yemen requested the emergency session on behalf of Arab states following the United States veto of the draft resolution at the UN Security Council on Monday. Of the 193-members of the General Assembly, a total of 128 countries voted in favor of the resolution. The United States, Israel, Guatemala, Honduras, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Micronesia, Palau and Togo voted against the resolution, with 35 countries abstaining.

Prime Minister Netanyahu praised Guatemala’s decision, stating on Christmas day “Last night I spoke with my friend, Guatemalan President Jimmy Morales. I thanked him for Guatemala’s support for us in the UN vote and I expressed my hope that he would follow in the footsteps of US President Donald Trump, recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and begin to move the embassy to it… God bless you, my friend, President Jimmy Morales. God bless both our countries, Israel and Guatemala.”

He added “We are waiting for you here in Jerusalem. I told you recently that there will be other countries that would recognize Jerusalem and announce the transfer of their embassies to it. Well here is the second country and I reiterate: It is only the beginning and it is important.”

Reports surfaced Monday that Paraguay is also considering moving its embassy to Jerusalem, with reports that Prime Minister Netanyahu is personally lobbying heads of state through out South America.

Political affairs advisor to Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas, Majdi al-Khalidi reportedly stated in response to President Morales’s announcement Monday, “This is a disappointing decision that we must fight by the way of political and diplomatic measures… According to the UN General Assembly’s decision, no country has the right to move its embassy to Jerusalem or recognize the city as Israel’s capital All decisions to move embassies to Jerusalem are null and void and illegal.”

Prime Minister Netanyahu recently made history as Israel’s first sitting prime minister to visit South America in September of this year. The prime minister traveled to Argentina, Colombia and Mexico, participating in ceremonies, meeting with heads of state and holding numerous business meetings, his tour centered on increasing Israel’s stance international, as well as opening doors of cooperation, business and diplomatic relations.

He stated during his United Nations General Assembly address in New York City following his South America tour “I went to South America, visiting Argentina and Colombia, and then I went on to Mexico, becoming, if you can believe it, the first Israeli prime minister ever to visit Latin America. After 70 years, the world is embracing Israel, and Israel is embracing the world. One year. Six continents…”

The United States, Czech Republic and Paraguay have all confirmed they will move their embassies to Israel capital, Jerusalem, following the United Nations efforts over the past weeks.

Netanyahu Confirms Israel To Withdraw From UNESCO

From:Behold Israel. ..December 24th 2017.

Again, I say keep watching, keep praying.

Israel to follow United States in withdrawing from UNESCO; Netanyahu addresses Abbas, end of peace process; Abbas met with Macron in Paris, claims US “has proven to be a dishonest mediator in the peace process,” Dec. 24, 2017.

In his weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday, Prime Minister Netanyahu confirmed that Israel would follow the United States and withdraw from UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, at the end of this year.

The prime minister confirmed over the weekend that he instructed Israel’s Foreign Ministry “to withdraw from UNESCO,” stating Sunday “I think that this is appropriate, given this organization’s biased, one-sided and absurd attitude toward us, and against the background of the US’s strong stand at the UN, which we welcome.”

Prime Minister Netanyahu also addressed Abbas’s announcement on Friday that the United States was a “dishonest mediator in the peace process”. Netanyahu stated Sunday “He [Abbas] declared that he is quitting the process and, in effect, is not interested in any proposal that the US might submit. I think that once again it is becoming clear: It is the Palestinians who do not want to resolve this conflict.”

Netanyahu added “The US has said something else that is very important: The root of the general conflict in the Middle East does not lie in Israel, but in Iran and in radical Islam and the terrorism that it inspires. All of these are the true reasons that have been revealed to everyone. Whoever sees clearly and has integrity cannot deny them.”

The U.S. State Department confirmed the United States’ withdrawal from UNESCO in October of this year after the organization adopted several resolutions denying Jewish and Israeli heritage to religious sites in Israel, mainly Jerusalem. It announced it would remain a “non-member state” as to in “contribute U.S. views, perspectives and expertise on some of the important issues undertaken by the organization, including the protection of world heritage, advocating for press freedoms, and promoting scientific collaboration and education.”

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas met with French President Emanuel Macron in Paris Friday, their meeting part of the Palestinian’s efforts to find a new peace broker in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as well as lobby support against Israel and the United States.

Abbas again announced on Friday that “The United States has proven to be a dishonest mediator in the peace process and we will no longer accept any plan from it,” and claimed that the Palestinians have “trust” in France and that “We respect the efforts made by you and we count heavily on your efforts.”

On President Trump’s announcement that American aid would be cut from countries that vote for the resolution against the United States’ recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, Abbas stated he “hoped that the others will learn the lesson and understand that you cannot impose solutions by using money and trying to buy off countries.”

Macron stated that France would not make a unilateral decision on a future Palestinian state without approval of the European Union, criticizing the United States for its decision on Jerusalem stating, “The American mistake was to want to unilaterally manage from afar a situation whose solution is in the hands of the Israelis and Palestinians… The Americans have marginalized themselves and I am trying to not do the same thing.”

Last week, Abbas sent two Palestinian Authority delegations to China and Russia in efforts to find a “new international sponsor for the peace process”, the PA confirming “The two delegations will convey a message from President Abbas to Russia and China, the purpose of which is to find a new international sponsor for the peace process, in the framework of the United Nations, in order to replace the American sponsorship.”

Around the same time, Russia offered to replace the United States as an “honest mediator” to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Russia’s Deputy Ambassador to the United Nations, Vladimir Safronkov, made the offer following the United Nations Security Council vote on Jerusalem on Monday. According to Russian media, he stated “We [Russia] are ready to become an honest mediator here.”

Days of Ezekiel? (Amir’s blog)

Amir’s commentary on Turkey- ally to a soon enemy of Israel! These are the days of Ezekiel!

Did the Turkish Sultan crossed a red line and threaten to kill Jews?

The beginning of this story is in a speech that carried the Turkish President in front of hundreds of people, following the speech of Trump on Jerusalem being the capital of Israel!

During the speech, Erdogan claimed “whoever thinks they own Jerusalem knows very well, that tomorrow they won’t even be able to hide behind trees”.

So what did the Turkish Sultan mean? And why is it a threat to killing Jews? It’s important that we all understand the hidden meaning behind this expression .

Notice the last part of the sentence: they won’t be able to hide behind trees. This text is not trivial and is chosen carefully. This is the text that was taken from the Hadith (the oral Quran), and he is referring to the killing of Jews during the times of Muhammad.

This is the full part of the text, translated into English:

“Judgment day will not come until you are fight and kill them. The Jews are hiding behind stones and trees, but the stones and trees will be called: “O Muslim, o servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me come and kill him!”

Turkey- from an ally to a soon enemy of Israel! These are the days of Ezekiel!

How Do I Put on the Full Armor of God?

The why‘.

Ephesians 6:11 KJV
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

We are engaged in a spiritual battle—all believers find themselves subject to the devil’s attacks because they are no longer on the devil’s side. Thus, Paul tells us to use every piece of God’s armor to resist the devil’s attacks and to stand true to God in the midst of those attacks.

Piece of Armor

The devil fights with lies, and sometimes his lies sound like truth; but only believers have God’s truth, which can defeat the devil’s lies.

Body armor

The devil often attacks our heart—the seat of our emotions, self-worth, and trust. God’s righteousness is the body armor that protects our heart and ensures his approval. He approves of us because he loves us and sent his Son to die for us.

Peace that comes from the Good News

The devil wants us to think that telling others the Good News is a worthless and hopeless task—the size of the task is too big and the negative responses are too much to handle. But the shoes God gives us are the motivation to continue to proclaim the true peace that is available in God—news everyone needs to hear.

What we see are the devil’s attacks in the form of insults, setbacks, and temptations. But the shield of faith protects us from the devil’s fiery arrows. With God’s perspective, we can see beyond our circumstances and know that ultimate victory is ours.

The devil wants to make us doubt God, Jesus, and our salvation. The helmet protects our mind from doubting God’s saving work for us.

Word of God

The sword is the only weapon of offense in this list of armor. There are times when we need to take the offensive against the devil. When we are tempted, we need to trust in the truth of God’s Word.

Ephesians 6:11-18 KJV

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

[12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places .

[13] Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

[14] Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

[15] And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

[16] Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

[17] And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

[18] Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
