Passing the baton: The official end of American domination in the Middle East https://beholdisraelblog.wordpress.com/2015/10/01/the-official-end-of-american-domination-in-the-middle-east/

The Red Line was Drawn. Now What?

I was thinking about parents training their children.
The teachers who sincerely want students to learn morally right & wrong.
I have heard and even done so myself…”stop that or this or that’ll happen!” Often parents and teachers or those in charge do nothing, follow through does not happen. “But the next time…I mean it!” They quickly begin to not worry about what we say. They do as they wish.

Isn’t that the same thing as the REDLINE that our president drew?

I am not taking up for him BELIEVE me, but how is it any different than what many of us do everyday, or at least most of us have done at some point. THEN, I began to think about that as I was reading the words of our Lord. The living word. How often have we read about the judgement that will come? The famines? The pestilence? The terror unlike anything before? They are often referred to as warnings. I think we could also call them redlines. In Ezekiel 14 is just one example and you will find it below. You know, I have to say as parents we simply want to give our kids another chance. If we just tell them one more time. They sincerely said they had learned their lesson. I know that the word of the living God says that He wants that none should parish. While some never repent then there are many being saved. Dear brothers and sisters, He loves us. He loves us more than we could imagine. As all parents or teachers finally come to the point of “enough is enough”! No more chances and now you have to face the consequences. No video games, early curfew, grounded to your room or simply a timeout.

I wonder if America or any of the nations have finally just about reached the final warning? Read the passage below and as you read ask yourself what kind of sins have we as individuals or as nations who have simply “accepted” the sin. Killing babies by a name called abortion by the millions. Saying homosexuality is ok and forced to accept the sin and allow marriage. How is that different than saying sexual promiscuity is just fine or pornography is fine too. Everyone just throw the rules out the window. Do what you want. Just let not one of us forget, including myself, that when God decides enough is enough, as in the days of Noah, and He will. One day one of the warnings will be the final warning. I hope we are not going to blame God as the judgement comes upon us. We will have no one to blame but ourselves. Repent and pray and let Him forever change you before it is too late. Remember, regardless the time will come and EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESS that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!

EZEKIEL 14:12-23

Judgement Inescapable

12 The word of the LORD came to me: 13 “Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its men and their animals, 14 even if these three men—Noah, Daniel and Job—were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign LORD.

15 “Or if I send wild beasts through that country and they leave it childless and it becomes desolate so that no one can pass through it because of the beasts, 16 as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate.

17 “Or if I bring a sword against that country and say, ‘Let the sword pass throughout the land,’ and I kill its men and their animals, 18 as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved.

19 “Or if I send a plague into that land and pour out my wrath upon it through bloodshed, killing its men and their animals, 20 as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, even if Noah, Daniel and Job were in it, they could save neither son nor daughter. They would save only themselves by their righteousness.

21 “For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments—sword and famine and wild beasts and plague—to kill its men and their animals! 22 Yet there will be some survivors—sons and daughters who will be brought out of it. They will come to you, and when you see their conduct and their actions, you will be consoled regarding the disaster I have brought upon Jerusalem—every disaster I have brought upon it. 23 You will be consoled when you see their conduct and their actions, for you will know that I have done nothing in it without cause, declares the Sovereign LORD.”

We all know someone like this. Right?

I think we might know someone like this. In fact I think we could be very intimately aware of them. I might dare to add that it could be possible THAT PERSON deceives even the best of us daily. What do you think?

Ezekiel 28:2
“Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ ‘In the pride of your heart you say, “I am a god; I sit on the throne of a god in the heart of the seas.” But you are a mere mortal and not a god, though you think you are as wise as a god.

COMMENTARY
The prince of Tyre might as well have said, “The world revolves around me.” It’s clear who sits on the throne of his heart, and it is not the Lord God. Each day we all face different variations of temptation and evil, but all of it is bent on placing someone other than God on the throne of our hearts. Perhaps it is entertainment or technology, pride or achievement, or even friends or family. Good things are sometimes the best pretenders, and can hold the throne without us even recognizing it. Exodus 34:14 says, “Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.” Deuteronomy 6:5 says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” You can’t love Him with everything until your “everything” is loving Him.

(My own commentary)
Let’s be honest with ourselves for a minute. Don’t put the verse in Ezekiel 28:2 in a small box and say that is not me because I don’t think of myself as a god. Ask yourself how many times you get upset with someone who does not agree with you 100%? Obviously you know best right? You are trying to tell them, keep them from making the same mistake you have. Steer them from trouble that you can see coming their way. They simply NEED TO LISTEN TO YOU. OR How many times do we simply say even if just to ourselves…they don’t care, they don’t hear my needs, I have asked over and over and it is like they are not even listening.
We need to STOP IT! Shut our mouths for a bit. We are deceiving ourselves if we think for a minute that these thoughts and attitudes are not putting ourselves up there in the god spot. Sure, we are not intentionally doing it but does that matter? We must pray always, seek God in all things. We must get out of God’s way sometimes and more often than not. Sure, we can offer advice if we see a loved one headed for destruction but if they are not listening then stop. The ONLY TRUE GOD WHO SITS ON THE THRONE has the best and the perfect plan. Maybe this person needs to fall so they can seek the help they need from our Father in Heaven.
Bottom line is that we all either daily or too often think the world revolves around us and people just should do what we say. Give us what we want. Create a happy place for our awesome selves! RIGHT? We must search our hearts daily. When we catch our own hearts and minds deceiving us we need to stop it then. Repent. How will we know? The more we read the word of God the easier we can spot these things. They will become incredibly clear.

Thank you dear Jesus for guiding us every step of the way.
