Thank you Pastor JD Farag
Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
I find great comfort in that God is able to “keep me from stumbling” and “present me faultless”. By grace through faith in Christ Jesus our sins have been made “white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18). Not only has the Lord dealt with our past sins, He has committed to work in us to protect us from sinning all the more in the future. This promise is an invitation into daily relationship with Him and a guarantee that He will be there for us. Make no mistake, our God is faithful, and His love is unfailing. He shows up in our lives. This promise is an invitation to die to ourselves and to place Christ on the throne of our hearts. Take courage today, in our Lord who works for your good. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”

John 10:7-11 KJV
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

1 Chronicles 16:8-36 KJVS
Give thanks unto the Lord , call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord .
 Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.
 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
 He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
 When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.
 And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
 Saying , Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
 Sing unto the Lord , all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.
 Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
 For great is the Lord , and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.
 For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
 Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
 Give unto the Lord , ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.
 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
 Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the Lord , because he cometh to judge the earth.
 O give thanks unto the Lord ; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the Lord .
John 5:8-15 KJVS
Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
 Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?
I do find it interesting that the Pharisees, those claiming to be so religious, didn’t seem to care about the miraculous healing but only wanted to know who told him to break the sabbath law by carrying his bed.
Do we ever find ourselves more focused on a rule we deem more important than on other things that are in play? Are we so focused on a rule that we are blind to something else that God just might be doing?
 And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
 The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
(Commentary from my study bible)
This man had been lame, or paralyzed, and suddenly he could walk. This was a great miracle. But he needed an even greater miracle—to have his sins forgiven. The man was delighted to be physically healed, but he had to turn from his sins and seek God’s forgiveness to be spiritually healed. God’s forgiveness is the greatest gift you will ever receive. Don’t neglect his gracious offer.

Luke 8:15 KJVS
But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it , and bring forth fruit with patience.
Dear Father in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven.
Abba Father, please never give up on me. CHANGE MY HEART, MY MIND, MY SOUL. Make the DESIRES OF MY HEART ONLY be that which is pleasing to YOU! Help me not to be distracted by the evil in this wicked world. Help me not to be fearful of anything in this world. Help me to trust YOU in ALL ways. Help me Abba Father to live my life from this day forward, different, better, producing good fruit. Good fruit for all to see. Good fruit that does not glorify me BUT glorifies YOU, the Father of all who believe and who love and who receives your only begotten son Jesus Christ and what He has done for all who will receive Him. Jesus Christ died, shed His blood, took the wrath that He didn’t deserve but it was the wrath which all who sin, every person alive or now dead deserves. Jesus Christ has already won the victory over death that we who believe might have eternal life. This is who our fruit should glorify, the Father. Help me to live my life in such a way that all will know that I love You. Not because I am so great, BUT because Jesus Christ first loved us so that we might be able to love. That is the only way we might possibly be able to love others. Thank You Jesus, I praise Your Holy name and ask all these things in Your most Holy name. Amen
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Our God is the God of peace. Bringing Jesus back from the dead made peace between us and God. Without a resurrected Christ we do not have forgiveness of sins or right relationship with God. Through the perfect life of Christ and with His miraculous resurrection, God guided us to Himself once and for all – like “that great Shepherd of the sheep”. Even more, He continues this kind of shepherding work through the gift of the Holy Spirit; “working in us what is pleasing to Him through Jesus Christ.” Today, know that God is your shepherd. He seeks to lead you and protect you.

I like this….
To remind the people of what God had done and encourage them to rededicate their lives to him.
“Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands” (7:9).
Isaiah 43:1-28 KJV
But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
 For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord , and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
 I, even I, am the Lord ; and beside me there is no saviour.
 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord , that I am God.
 Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
 Thus saith the Lord , your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
 I am the Lord , your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
 Thus saith the Lord , which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
 Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.
 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
 But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.
 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.
 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.
 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.
 Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
Commentary from study bible..
43:1ff Chapter 42 ends with God’s sorrow over the spiritual decay of his people. In chapter 43, God says that despite the people’s spiritual failure, he will show them mercy, bring them back from captivity, and restore them. He would give them an outpouring of love, not wrath. Then the world would know that God alone had done this.
43:1-4 God created the people of Israel, and they were special to him. God redeemed them and called them by name to be those who belong to him. God protected Israel in times of trouble. We are important to God, too. If we claim to belong to God, we must never do anything that would bring shame to him.
43:2 Going through rivers of difficulty will either cause you to drown or force you to grow stronger. If you go in your own strength, you are more likely to drown. If you invite the Lord to go with you, he will protect you.
43:3 God gave other nations to Persia in exchange for returning the Jews to their homeland. Egypt, Ethiopia, and parts of Arabia (Seba) had attacked Persia, and the Persians defeated them.
43:5, 6 Isaiah was speaking primarily of Israel’s return from Babylon. But there is a broader meaning: All God’s people will be regathered when Christ comes to rule in peace over the earth.
43:10, 11 Israel’s task was to be a witness (44:8), telling the world who God is and what he had done. Believers today share the responsibility of being God’s witnesses. Do people know what God is like through your words and example? They cannot see God directly, but they can see him reflected in you.
43:15-21 This section pictures a new Exodus for a people once again oppressed, as the Israelites had been as slaves in Egypt before the Exodus. They would cry to God, and again he would hear and deliver them. A new Exodus would take place through a new wilderness. The past miracles were nothing compared to what God would do for his people in the future.
43:22-24 A sacrifice required both giving up a valuable animal and pleading with God for forgiveness. But the people presented God with sins instead of sacrifices. Can you imagine bringing the best of your sins to God’s altar? This ironic picture shows the depths to which Israel had sunk. What do you present to God—your sins or a plea for his forgiveness?
43:25 How tempting it is to remind someone of a past offense! But when God forgives our sins, he totally forgets them. We never have to fear that he will remind us of them later. Because God forgives our sins, we need to forgive others.
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Jesus Christ has dealt with sin once and for all. That work is finished, and He is at the right hand of the Father in Heaven on our behalf. When we are tempted we must run to Jesus. When we fall for temptation and sin sabotages our lives, we must run to Jesus. If we have been tricked into living days, months, or years in a sinful pattern that constantly damages us and those around us: we must run to Jesus. There is no dealing with sin apart from the work Christ did on the cross. That is the work that has dealt with your sin. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He finished that battle on the cross. Let Jesus become your “more than enough”. Let Him take the throne of your heart and dethrone all idols and pretenders that are hell-bent on getting you to buy their lies. Run to Jesus, He can makes all things new.
