Finding Jesus: Broken And Cant Be Fixed?

Why does God allow bad things to happen if He really exists?

What Would You Do?

I like to think we would each stand for the right thing,  for the truth.   Do you KNOW Him? If you don’t know Him intimately then ask Him right now to speak to you , to reveal Himself to you.  He can and will if you are seeking Him in truth.   He has to do it and nothing that anyone might say can show Jesus to you or put you in the place where you KNOW that you KNOW that you KNOW you are a child of the one true God.  If you are unsure then start today and talk to Him and bathe in His word and He will open your ears and your eyes and remove the impurities from your heart.  He is waiting.   / If you don’t know Him in that way then ask yourself  this,  would you be in the crowd in yhe scripture below yelling CRUCIFY…CRUCIFY?

John 19:6-11
As soon as the chief priests and their officials saw him, they shouted, “Crucify! Crucify!”But Pilate answered, “You take him and crucify him. As for me, I find no basis for a charge against him.”  The Jewish leaders insisted, “We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.”  When Pilate heard this, he was even more afraid,  and he went back inside the palace. “Where do you come from?” he asked Jesus, but Jesus gave him no answer.  “Do you refuse to speak to me?” Pilate said. “Don’t you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?”  Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.”
Pilate wants nothing to do with the crucifixion of Jesus, yet the Jewish leaders continue forcing his hand. Pilate is afraid, and he is beginning to believe that there might be some truth to Jesus’ claim: the Son of God, Messiah. Jesus is the King that Israel always needed, He is the King that all people need in order to be in right standing with God. He is the ONLY one qualified to be that King – forever mediating our relationship with God.

Free to Believe What You Want

Yes, you can believe whatever you like in America.  We have freedom of religion.

Even God gave each of us free will to choose what you want.  You certainly don’t want to force someone to love you and to live with you.  Have you ever been in a relationship where you felt like it was one sided? I have and can tell you it hurts.  Hurts deeply.  God allows us to choose.  We all know in life all of our choices have some sort of consequence or a final outcome or end. Good or bad, the path we choose to take WILL end at some point.  You may feel your path has been perfect and great.  Happy and lots of money and great job and family.  Is anything missing?  I  suppose some might say no, nothing missing.  Some might not know until they come to the end of the path.  Choose wisely.  Read the word of God in the Holy Bible and pray before you choose another god.  Don’t know Him?  Ask Him to reveal Himself to you.  Seek Him with all  your heart, mind and soul.

1 John 2:20-23
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.  I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.  Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son.  No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
Recognizing Jesus is the Son of God (the Christ, the Messiah) is everything. Each person has the freedom to believe however and whatever they want to believe about Jesus. It is clear however that what you choose to believe about Jesus Christ means life or death…in the eternal sense. I pray that as we are engaged by the Holy spirit to introduce and share the gospel message with those we know, that we would respond and obey His leading! I pray that He would go before us and ready their hearts, and lead us in how to best live for Christ to show them the way.

What Will He Say?

Do you have the eyes to see and the ears to hear?  If you don’t know what I am talking about then I pray you will ask God right now to reveal Himself to you. One day we will stand before Him and we will surely all hear what He has to say on that day.

John 5:24-30
“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.  Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.  For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.  And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.  “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice  and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.  By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.
Jesus continues his response to the religious leaders questioning His practice of healing on the Sabbath. On one hand, Jesus says that God the Father has granted the Son to have life in himself (vs. 26). Yet in vs. 30, Jesus says that He can do nothing by Himself – yet His judgment is just because He seeks not to please Himself but God the Father. The difficult truth coming through in these verses is that the purposes of Jesus and of God are one and the same. The religious leaders consider this heresy because Christ is claiming deity alongside of God.

Need A Touch From the Lord God?

What a blessing this was to me.

Posted on you tube channel “Awake Sleeper”….

Watch “end time, dreams and visions, rapture, encouragement, from Gods word.”

1 John 2:15-17

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

Put all your idols, whatever they might be in the garbage!  TV?  Internet?  Work or food.  Even if it isn’t a bad thing, if it is too much and it takes your thoughts and focus off the Lord.  If you desire to be with the Lord for eternity then you need not pack a bag.  When we leave this dreadful place we will not want for anything. ..not when we are in the presence of our King!  Praise God..thank You Jesus!
Keep watching and keep waiting and don’t grow weary.
God bless and this is the day the Lord has made so REJOICE and be GLAD in it!

Yes, Give Thanks

Today is the anniversary of the day my daddy died 23 years ago.

Yesterday was rather crazy with almost having a head on collision but instead took out a gas meter and put my car in the hospital.

Even in the craziness we must take the time to focus on our wonderful Saviour!

Psalm 136:1-3

1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.

2 Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever.

3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever. . . .

God, I don’t understand…

Have you ever been completely confused?  You cannot make sense of why God seemingly is standing by and does not hear your cries.  Why is He allowing your family too do without?  Why can your not get a decent job?  You cry out, “God, I am not asking for much?  Why?  I don’t understand!”

I have been there.  Probably will again.  Sometimes as time goes by, we may be able too see why God chose to go the way He did.  Sometimes we may never understand.  When we think we get it we are probably still missing the mark.  We cannot set the entire picture from where we stand.  We must trust that regardless of how it seems He is there, He does hear your cries, He does care.  Even when it hurts so much and you feel so alone you have to make yourself trust that Him no matter what.  We each have to do that during the hard times.  We all have them.

Job 37:5-6
God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding. He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’

There is rest and comfort to be found in that God “does great things beyond our understanding” (NIV, NET). The NLT says, “We can’t even imagine the greatness of his power”. I find refuge in this because sometimes in life, things worse than we can imagine happen to us, or we find ourselves wanting to stand firm against “impossible” odds. This kind of situation is the perfect stage for God to show up and display His authority, and the extent of His truly amazing grace. Take heart, He loves you and wants to be with you.

Cannot Do It Alone!

I can only speak for myself but I cannot do that which I know I am supposed to do without the CONSTANT help and intervention from God Almighty! I will never be able to do it alone.

James 1:22-25
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.  Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror  and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.  But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

Our faith in Christ must collide with appropriate action. Living for Christ implies repentance and the birth of a new creation. A hunger is born for the things of God, and to live according to the new life that is found in Christ. The forgetful listener is the person who attends church every week and listens to the word, but never engages the message toward life change. The Word of God is designed to be lived out, and the hearing of the Word is a catalyst to that change. Satan continues to sabotage your life after you have heard the good news. Disregard the lies and live out the truth!

Final-my words
I thank you Lord and Creator of everything that you love and forgive me daily.  I thank you that you never leave me.  Your mercy and grace never run out and are always enough.  I on my own will never be enough…praise be to you forever and ever..IN THE NAME OF JESUS….AMEN.
