True or False

image

I say it is true.   Regardless if you believe or not we each will have an expiration date.  Car wreck,  a disease,  a heart attack.  Murdered by a robbery.  A rapist who maybe only  murders your spirit.   People being kidnapped and chained up in darkness for sex slaves.  Maybe you are living where Christians are being persecuted,  beheaded,  crucified on crossses, stoned, burned alive,  fed to dogs.  I never would have dreamed this world would have went so far back into the dark ages.  People who have said the Holy Bible is out of date might want to read it and take another look at the sickness going on around the world and right here in America’s own backyard.
Crazy?   Don’t want to hear about this?  None of us like this but we have to face the truth.  The darkness that is all around us. THE end is going to come for all at once or on day by day timing.   Not one of us know exactly when but we do all need to face the fact that it will come one day and one way or another regardless of what you believe.  Be ready mentally and spiritually.  I pray you seek God,  the One True God who sent His son Jesus Christ to shed His own blood as He was crucified on the cross but was perfect and sinless but took on all of the horrific sins of mine and yours and everyone’s in the world.  Why?  So that we might live in the presence of a Holy God and not be thrown into an eternal pit of hell.  Hell is real.   I cry when I  think of tge horrific things going on right here in the here and now. It is heartbreaking.  He’ll will be far worse than any of us can imagine.   The worse day here no matter how grotesque or violent or sickening,  worse than the craziest horror movie you may have seen,  will not be able to compare to the burning hell that awaits ALL of us!  All who haven’t called upon the name of Jesus Christ for the salvation He freely offers. We each make our own decision.  You aren’t a bad person?   If hell is a real place then it is for the truly evil such as Hitler and others that we catagorize as being bad in our eyes and not for the person who really is not so bad you say?  Not true, God is Holy and no one can be in the presence of His Glory unless they have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ.   Jesus died to make ATONEMENT for our sinfulness so that we could go to heaven and be with the Lord God who created each of us.  He loves us but cannot allow the filth of sin that is in and on each one of us to enter into eternity.  He is a just God and don’t we want to live in a place free from the evil that is here now?  We deceive ourselves if we think we don’t have sin.  That is self righteousness and is a huge sin itself.  It isn’t about what we can accomplish on our own and  by our own works and good deeds. It is ONLY about what Jesus Christ did on the cross for us. He did the work that is required.   We should do good things once we are saved but doing those good things or just being a good person will not…”repeat”, WILL NOT be able to get your name in the book of life at the entrance of Heaven.   You will certainly be welcomed with open arms into Hell.  They take everyone.   All who walk the broad road will not even need to have a book checked to see if your name is in it.  Too many will be storming in to keep track of the names. The evil will torment even the evildoers on earth.   I wonder if Hitler would chanel how he lived if he could?  I think of Luke 16:19-31, which explains very clearly how a man in hell desires urgently for someone to go and warn his brothers and family so they do not end up being tormented eternally as he was.  He  begged for someone to just touch his tongue with a drop if water.  If he could only have told his brothers, if he had only realized himself!   But the passage goes on to say that his family should listen to the prophets as they have all been warned and yet no one listens and no one cares so why would it be different if he told them?   They would laugh and scoff just as they still do today.   Read the passage in Luke noted above.  Pray on it.  Seek God concerning it. You say you don’t believe?   What IF it IS TRUE and you are wrong?  Do you really want to take that chance?   Your choice and mine.  I say, REPENT  today and turn to God Almighty while you still have the chance to.  Seek Him with all your heart and soul.   He is faithful to finish the work in you.  To change you and make you more than you ever dreamed you could be.  We may not know how the things we do have affected someone else for the good while we are here.  If you choose life and not death,  if you choose Jesus Christ then one day in Heaven we will then truly see everything God wants us to know and see about the trials and struggles we are seeing or going through ourselves.  We can see how coming through them allows us to comfort someone else going through the same.

1 Peter 4:7

The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.

Overcomer – Are We?

image

So what does the word of God say about being an overcomer?
There are several instances it is used but I an going to go straight to 1st John who tells us how we become overcomers.  The verses following that passage tell us about the rewards of being overcomers.

1st John 5
5 Who is the one that overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?  6 This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ;  not with the water only,  but with the water and with the blood.  It is the Spirit who testifies,  because the Spirit is the truth.   7 For there are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood. (I suggest you continue reading the rest of the chapter.)

Revelation 2:7
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Revelation 2:17
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Revelation 2:26
And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

Revelation 3:5
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Revelation 3:12
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Revelation 3:21
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Revelation 12:10-12
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Revelation 21:7
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

REVELATION  21:8
(WARNING) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Let’s pray…
Dear Father in Heaven,  my God,  my King,  you are worthy to be worshipped and praised and exalted in all the earth and the universe.
I  pray Lord God that You might have mercy upon your children and that your grace might be poured out over us even though we are not deserving of it. We humbly ask you to help each of us in these last days. We are weak but in Your mighty strength we can continue on toward the goal You have set before us. Lord, You know each of our weaknesses in this flesh we currently dwell in,  so please help us Lord, help us not to fear, help us to stand courageously for Your names sake. Help us to boldly testify to Your goodness and Your word and Your truth and the salvation that only comes from Your Son Jesus Christ . Help us that we might share the gospel of Jesus Christ without fear of man.  We ask that You would do this supernaturally by the Holy Spirit because we left to ourselves will surely fail.
We ask all these things for Your glory and we give thanks in every circumstance and praise Your most holy name. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

What Do You Believe?

All the same just different paths?
Many ways?  Well, what you believe can be the difference in life and death.

We Believe with Lyrics by Newsboys

Questions for God?

Are you unsure?  Do you wish to believe but just can’t quite get it?  I was once there. I even though I did get it.  One day I truly had to pour everything I had out before Him and had to truly trust Him beyond all believe.  Why? I was at a place that I literally had no other choice. I already believed but I  suppose I hadn’t trusted Him in a way it takes.  I began to truly learn what worshiping the Lord was. Then I began to fall in love with Him.  At that point I began to realize that I really hadn’t known Him before.  He began to change ME. Life is still imperfect but I have hope that one day it will be perfect with our King of Kings!   I pray that if you don’t know Him like that now that you will cry out to Him.  Soon that time will be gone.  The opportunity will have passed.   Seek Him now.

1 Corinthians 2:6-12
We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.  No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.  None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  However, as it is written:“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him—  these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.  For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.  What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.
Commentary
All who have accepted Christ have received the Holy Spirit to live within them. It is He (the Holy Spirit) who reveals to us God’s wisdom and “the deep things of God”. (vs. 11 NIV) Today, consider the importance of fellowship and relationship with the Holy Spirit. He is God within us, works to be in relationship with us, and provides understanding about the things of God happening in, around, and through our lives. He was released to dwell within people upon Christ’s return to heaven. He is a vital part of God’s plan for our lives.

Finally! Love Wins, or has it?

Some say fear mongering.

Some say it is Truth.

Short clip shows the overlap of what OUR reality will be. I believe sooner than later. (Clip at the end.)

Why?

Is this part of what a great deception looks like?  Our own wants and desires deceive us. Our own hearts are evil.

This has been building for a long time. We have as a world been let go, you want this then you are an adult so you can have it,  go my CHILDREN have fun.

Sort of like being a mom and knowing that your child needs to eat a variety of food groups daily and not just drink alcohol but  they push you out and tell you to stop interfering because they are fine and they can make their own choices.

Parent is hurt,  mainly saddened and broken hearted because they can see the destruction that will come from this behavior.  More than that broken heart, it the great sadness of the ending and ruin of the “life” of this child you gave life to. They are headed for disaster,  for hell, eternal damnation. Of course that is after a short time of what they might call fun. Then the truth will hit them that this has brought more pain to their life, and they first thought it was a freedom but soon will appear more like a prison. Not only for them but for  the entire society that has now had the choices of a few forced on all.  Moral decay has been in the works for a lifetime.  Little by little until we have now for the most part topped out.

The Lord God Almighty has said, you don’t want my advice,  nor my help. You don’t seek me in prayer.  Ok my children that I HAVE LOVED AND STILL LOVE, and because I do love you all, yet you do not love me and only want me to go.  I will  go now.

After all, we as people can only take so much rejection before we walk away angry and hurt and rejected.  God is patient AND continues to be and if you truly call to him there might be some time.  For now it appears He has said,
“Ok, I have had enough of your rejection and your disobedience.  Take what you want,  do as you please,  reap what you sow. There will be normal consequences and they are not to be blamed on me. You can only look to yourselves because I am allowing you to have what you want.  A child that eats candy all day everyday and nothing else will more than likely have rotten teeth and severe malnutrition. So, do as you please!  Enough is enough and my creations want me not.”

Don’t rebel too long. We don’t need to be reminded of a famous line from “Gone with the Wind”, “Frankly my dear,  I don’t give a damn.” Wake up before it is too late and when you begin to knock on the door and beg God to please open up and these be the words  that you hear!  When we realize our dire need for our One true God. I hope it is not too late.  We are at the end if the hour and the game is about to end. Which team will you be on?  Only 2 sides,  1 is the losing side and 1 is the victorious side. Today is the day to choose whom you will serve.  Make no mistake,  you will serve someone.  Your so called “I will do as I please and will not bow to God.”  You WILL bow to something other than your own choices! Please don’t deceive yourselves!  When the evil one shows himself to all who thought they were simply living their own lives, it will be too late. So CHOOSE wisely while you can.  No one serves only himself, we all serve someone!  PICK A SIDE!

Uniting the World One Step at a Time

People, wake up. Your alarm clicks should be going off. Religion? Forget it. Read the bible and seek Jesus Christ and pray for Him to reveal Himself.  Turn from false God. There is but ONE.  Be sure you know Him. One day soon it might be a minute too late. May God open the eyes of all and have mercy on all of us. No time you say? My response  is, MAKE TIME. You don’t want to wake up one day and realize what you should have done.

76 – The Final Countdown (Update) – The Rise of a One World Economy

Look Forward to Your Goal

Keep hold and stand firm!
Walk in the Spirit not in the flesh.  I know…it is a minute by minute thing most days!  Keep on and don’t lose hope and DON’T LOOKING BACK LIKE LOT’S WIFE DID!  We have nothing in  this world but we have a better future in Christ Jesus!  Do you know Him?

2 Timothy 1:7

7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Have You Called Him?

image

Do you know Him who is able to save?
Does He know you?
If  you already have, then have you called and just talked to Him today?  If not then why?

What Have You Read Lately?

Can He Count You In?

Clearly we can see that God has a plan and everyday we can choose to be a part of the plan or not to.  Either way just as in Isaiah 55:11 ‘so shall my words be that goes out of my mouth; it shall not return to me empty,  but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it’. Either way, with or without you or me the Lord will use someone who is willing to serve Him to accomplish what has already been ordained. We need to ask ourselves each day, “can God count me ‘in’ on this day”? Don’t say maybe tomorrow, because we only have the here and now and that is all we can be sure of.

BELOW IS FROM VERSES OF THE DAY

Esther 4:14
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
COMMENTARY
A man named Haman had orchestrated the annihilation of an entire people; Queen Esther’s people, the Jews. Confronting King Xerxes regarding this effort could cost Esther her life; yet Mordecai, Esther’s cousin, persuaded her to go to the King anyway. After fasting and praying by all the Jews including Esther, she went to the King and found favor in his sight. Sometimes God places us in certain situations so that we, like Esther, can choose to rise to the occasion and stand firm for Him.

Power in that Wonderful Name

This story is about 7 years old but is still just as relevant in all situations today.  Have confidence in our King!  See what kind of amazing testimonials come from doing some name dropping instead of showing signs of fear! Praise God!

“Elderly woman witnesses to man trying to rob her”

We Failed in America

I think it is safe to say that America has failed greatly in following Deuteronomy 6:6-7.  I am sure my grandmother must have felt that way when she was still living.  She was a devout Christian woman.  At least everything I remember about her.  I so wish she were here now so I could converse with her.  Someone who I could learn a great deal from.  You see it doesn’t happen overnight.  My dad was raised in a very Christian family.  Perfect?  I didn’t say that.  Not one family is.   Apparently when my dad started his family he didn’t want to live the way he was raised.  He was a good guy!  Everyone loved him.  He had morals.  He was honest.  He was a hard worker.  He was a man with integrity.  Was he saved?  I don’t think I can honestly say yes or no. I know if I had to judge based on his language and the fact I cannot ever recall him talking about God unless he was using it as a curse word. I hate that. Sad thing is that I grew up and did the same.  I lived it and after all it is like all the other curse words right?  WRONG!  I hate hearing anyone do that now. I cannot stand it.  It hurts my spirit and causes great distress to hear it!  I am so thankful that it does.  So, back to my dad.  I hope that when he sat down on the couch early on that morning when his heart began racing so fast that it finally quit.  I hope that in the panic he had to have felt in those last few minutes he was alive and sitting there alone,  I hope he cried out to God and asked for forgiveness and accepted Jesus. I can only hope.
Now, everyone always seems to say, “they are now in a better place, they are in Heaven “. I don’t think this is true,  everyone wants to make everyone feel better.  Shouldn’t the truth be told?  Again,  we have hope that people at some point had that talk and opened their hearts at that last minute.  So, my grandmother passed 6 months or so after my dad.  The Lord really opened my eyes.  You see, I knew my grandmother loved the Lord with EVERYTHING she had. She longed to go be with the Lord.  When she passed and people said”she is in a better place now”, it felt different.   Why? Because I knew she really was!  It began to hit me hard when I reflected back on my dad.  Was he in Heaven?   You see, I  don’t know if he is but I feel very confident that my grandmother is!  I decided then that I wanted to live a life so that my children would have that confidence of where I was and not have to wonder or that people might just say the normal saying just so everyone feels better. I felt joy for my grandmother and that was so different than my dad.  Read this scripture and ask yourself if America has passed or failed.  How long before our Father in Heaven says ENOUGH?

Deuteronomy 6:6-7
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
Commentary
The family unit is purposed to instruct every generation about God. Make no mistake – it is not only the responsibility of your church to educate and impart the knowledge and person of Jesus Christ to your children. It is first and foremost the responsibility of the family. If families fail at this task, future generations will gradually forget about God, and smaller becomes the opportunity for them to be saved. Remember the Lord, and what He has done!

Verse/Commentary courtesy of ‘Verse-A-Day’

ONE MORE THING. …
I didn’t grow up in a family where they taught me about the Lord and His ways and I rarely went to a church service with an aunt or babysitter.  I didn’t really even know my grandmother but she made sure I had a bible.  I grew up knowing she loved the Lord even though I didn’t know much more than that.  Her actions were clear and were examples. Even if you didn’t have that family that taught you and you don’t think you can understand the Word of God,  think again.  God stood at my heart waiting to be asked in. He will do the same for you.  Ask Him.  He will be true to HIS promises.  He will teach you as you truly seek Him.  Give Him a try. He won’t let you down.  I pray if you have not yet, that you will not let another second go by without making Him, Jesus Christ your Savior. We don’t know when our last day will be.  We each choose our destination, please don’t make it be one you regret.
