Thank you Pastor JD Farag for the encouragement you give each of us!
Thank you JD Farag…
You walk into a dark unfamiliar room. You begin to run your hands over the walls feeling for the small switch that you can flip so you can see. Although your eyes are open, they may as well not be since you cannot see a darned thing. You keep feeling, knowing you will surely find it.
The room that once seemed so dark has seemed to lighten a bit. Maybe it is simply because you are now used to your surroundings. Your eyes have adjusted. That which seemed pitch black now feels normal. You have learned to be comfortable most of the time. Deep down you feel that just maybe their is something more glorious out there.
Today I read the verses below…and I began to think about the things above.
I have loved ones who seem blinded. They leave me thinking they like the dark rooms best. When you walk in like a candle in the night to shine some of God’s light they immediately try to blow you out. I began to think about my own history, my story. You see I too once lived in a very dark room. It felt like it was surely the same for everyone. If you have a friend or a loved one who cannot see the things the Lord God Almighty is doing right before our eyes. The word of God coming to pass and it seems so plain to you….and to me. You wonder, “why on earth can’t they see?” They cannot see because they are blinded just as the verses say below. What else do they say? WE are called to be the light of our Father. The person who came into my life did not stay long, but she shared the gospel and she gave me a great study bible. She was a stranger going around looking in the dark rooms for someone who needed to see. She may not have flipped the switch on for me but she was in there long enough that I was able to see the switch on the wall. When I was tired of living in the pit I could get up and cry out to God (flip the light switch on). We cannot save anyone but we can be a light in the darkness so that maybe the one who is temporarily blind might be able to run to Jesus when the veil is lifted. Our days are short…”dear Lord, help us to be bold and not afraid to walk into the darkness to help a brother or sister in their time of need.”
2 Corinthians 4:3-6
3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
This week is a celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Savior! This of course does have a little prophecy update weaved into the sermon in the perfect way that only Pastor JD Farag can do. Get a tissue.
I have felt hesitant to put these out here but I have had two of these dreams. Each a little different but in many ways the same. I feel strongly that these are from the Lord.
The first one was around the middle of November. I wrote things down about the dream but did not put the date on it. I felt there was a message that needed to be shared but kept trying to figure out how to put it together. The entire year for me has been about urgency. I have felt the Holy Spirit guiding me for the last year. So, here goes.
As I was writing down this dream I knew immediately the name was to be “Special Delivery”.
Special–Distinguished or different from usual. Set apart from ordinary.
Delivery–Giving forth of something. Handing over something.
Adding urgent because this was an urgent situation.
Urgent–Requires immediate action.
I was suddenly in this situation of delivering a baby. Not me but there was a young woman (no idea who she was) who suddenly was there and going into labor. No time for Dr or 911 or anything. No time to think. It was urgent! We took care of what we had to take care of – we did it! The delivery was an emergency and for this unplanned baby. I was so happy and joyful! Everything was wonderful!
I suddenly went from that feeling of joy to being at the woman’s feet while holding the baby that was still attached to the mother. We were waiting on the ambulance. I immediately began to think of all the things I should have done differently. All the things that could have gone wrong. All the things that could have gone wrong because I could not prepare.
This dream was a very spiritual dream for me. I had written at the bottom of my notes from this dream that I had no time to prepare for rituals. I was associating rituals with the normal path. You go into labor and then then you wait until labor pains are a few minutes apart and then you go to the hospital and the Dr shows up and you have people who clearly know what to do. I was thinking of that situation as rituals. Immediately after the baby was born I felt such joy and happiness. I connected that to when a person is first saved. A person who has been born again and the joy they have. The next part of the dream where I began to second guess everything, I believe I was connecting that to the doubt that the evil one begins to try to slip into our minds and tell us how we are not good enough or that we should not have done this or we should have done that. I also could not shake the ritual vs non-ritual. These verses are on my heart.
John 4:24 I am going to begin at 21.
Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (These words were spoken by Jesus and He said MUST.)
(For me I continued to think of the church’s who are very legalistic in there worship and lack spiritual and lack the relationship with Christ.)
I will let you look it up and study it but it speaks of the rituals and preparations of the priests that were required before Jesus came and shed his blood for us.
I had this one on December 2nd, 2014.
In my dream my husband and I were busy and had been busy. We were busy rushing around and getting ready for the birth of twins. Not our twins. My mother in law was having the twins. We were getting ready for the twins because we were planning on taking the twins after they were born and raising them. You see she had cancer and was in her 70’s and was dying. (REALITY…she passed away from colon cancer about 2 and a half years ago and was in her 70’s. In the dream she was not young but just as she was when she was really dying.)
So, back to the dream. This was urgent! She was going to deliver in weeks or days but we simply had to hurry and put together 2 cribs. We were just rushing. My husband also had told me his uncle was on the way and he also told me that we would not see him again after this. He said that he was also dying. (He is the brother of my mother in law.)
Also, during all of this I did take mental note that everything around us was going as usual. Nothing around us or within the family or work or any other people seemed to be out of place or acting odd. Business as usual.
When I woke up I told my husband I was exhausted and he probably was also because we had been putting up cribs for the twins. He said, “really? so someone have twins?” I giggled and said yes and not us but it was his mom and that we were going to take them and raise them since she was dying. I jumped up and began getting ready for work. While in the shower the song began playing in my head…”People get ready, Jesus is coming!”
Why? Again, this was a very spiritual dream for me because this year the Lord has used 9:11 in many forms to get my attention. I know, very strange. Because of that one of the very first verses I began looking at months ago was Romans 9:11. At that time I had seen this popping up so often I immediately thought, “Ok Lord, are you trying to tell me something? Is there a scripture You want me to read?” At church we were in the book of Romans and so I looked at Romans 9:11. I did find it very interesting but it was not where the Lord had led me during that particular time. BUT, now this particular verse was the first one to pop into my mind.
Points about the dream that stuck out and I wrote down.
-this was the 2nd dream in about 2 weeks dealing with birth and labor and babies
-this dream had 2 people that would be dying…2 deaths represented (my mother in law and her brother)
-people around us continued on as normal
-twins and Romans 9:11
Lets begin with why the TWINS were important to me. Romans 9:11 I will put both the KJV and the NIV.
KJV For [the children] being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;
NIV Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad–in order that God’s purpose in election might stand;
2nd dream of this type. I kept thinking about how much the bible speaks of birth and birth pangs and we will know when we are in the end times because the birth pangs will be closer and closer as labor pains are for a woman.
The 2 deaths in this dream. I had written down what I felt the Lord was saying. I wrote that the 1st death was like when we are first saves and we have to die to ourselves when we receive Christ. The 2nd death is when we leave this world through physical death and go to be with the Lord.
One more odd thing. Two days after I had this second dream I was talking to my supervisor. We were just joking around about his new work space. He suddenly became serious and made the remark “in 9 months it will not matter.” (Odd…WHAT???) I asked, “what do you mean”? He said that the rest of the group I am in are supposed to have a new place to sit in about that time. So I joked around again for a bit to lighten it up and then went to my desk. That night I began to think about it again. Why 9 months…what is in 9 months? Why not say you would be moving in a few months or something? I asked myself, what is 9 months from now? September! Our fiscal year end at work. Fiscal year ends can mean people lose their jobs. Another year? Why did he not say at the end of our FY? Why not say in a few months? It was strange to hear him specifically say 9 months. WHAT ELSE? A baby is born in 9 months. WOW…that goes with the “dream puzzle”.
What else? Well, I immediately thought about the final lunar eclipse…blood moon is in September 2015. It is also a Super Moon and it is also the only one from the 4 blood moon tetrad of 2014-2015 that is visible from Jerusalem. This tetrad being different than normal lunar eclipses because they are rare ONLY because all four of them landed on God’s appointed days on the biblical calendar. Not our calendar but the biblical calendar. That is very very rare and when it does happen it has something major happen. One must admit that so far 2014 has certainly not lacked in drama in the world. So far we have only had 2. First on Passover and the second on Sukkot or Tabernacles. 2 more to go on the same biblical appointed days. Our fiscal year end for work is end of week of 10/3/15. Sukkot begins 9/28/15 to 10/3/15.
ADDED UPDATE….ok, so now we are still looking at the 9 month thing. Do what is in 9 months? I forgot but the pope is supposed to be here in September 2015 (should be interesting). REVISION AGAIN…I FOUND IT INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT THE POPE IS GOING TO ARRIVE IN PHILADELPHIA AND WHAT IS THE DATE. SEPTEMBER 26th, 27th. This goes with the paragraph above. I also looked up Revelation 3:9-11, because 911 has been so urgent to me this year. Read it, it is concerning the letter to the church of Philadelphia. Then we have had the house and Congress agree to pass the budget until when….September 2015. Plus the homeland security is not funded after February. Interesting with the amnesty and open borders. So that is my update.
What does any of that have to do with anything? Maybe nothing but I did find it very interesting.
I believe the message in the first dream was …be sure you are born again. Accept Jesus and the gift He has given everyone who seeks Him and asks. Believe He was born of a virgin that God chose named Mary. Believe He is God who came to earth as a man to be an example for each of us. To teach the disciples so they could also go and spread the good news! Believe that He being sinless and perfect died on the cross and took all our sins upon himself so that we might live. He was put in a tomb and 3 days later he rose from the dead! He is the way, the truth and the light. He is the only way to get to the Father. You must have child like faith.
I believe the message in the second dream is to prepare for His coming. Make sure you are ready and your lamps are full of oil which is the Holy Spirit. Make sure your garments are clean. We are not perfect but we must confess and repent daily to the Lord and not to an earthly priest but to our only High Priest, Jesus Christ.
Psalms 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.
Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus , and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
No one knows when the Lord is going to return but if you believe His word then you know He will return just as He said He would. None of us are promised tomorrow. Any number of things could happen to you or me any minute. If you do not know the Lord I urgently plead with you to dial 911 straight hotline to the Lord our God. God Almighty! Our Creator! The Beginning and the End. The Alpha and the Omega! Choose today, this minute whom you will serve.
Blessings to all…..
First, this verse is what I am clinging to. Under the verse I will then put the verses that precede it so you have the total context. If you are not asleep but you are a watchman then you will clearly see the things written are all around you.
But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
Now for all the verses before this one.
1 What misery is mine! I am like one who gathers summer fruit at the gleaning of the vineyard;
there is no cluster of grapes to eat,
none of the early figs that I crave.
2 The faithful have been swept from the land;
not one upright person remains.
Everyone lies in wait to shed blood;
they hunt each other with nets.
3 Both hands are skilled in doing evil;
the ruler demands gifts,the judge accepts bribes,
the powerful dictate what they desire—they all conspire together.
4 The best of them is like a brier,
the most upright worse than a thorn hedge.
The day God visits you has come,the day your watchmen sound the alarm.
Now is the time of your confusion.
5 Do not trust a neighbor;
put no confidence in a friend.
Even with the woman who lies in your embrace
guard the words of your lips.
For a son dishonors his father,
a daughter rises up against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—
a man’s enemies are the members of his own household.
THEN FOR THE VERSE I CHOOSE TO HOLD TO!
7 But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
We thank you Lord for Your Word! We thank You for sending Your son Jesus as the sinless lamb who shed His blood on the cross for each of us who choose You. You first chose us, we thank you and praise You. We are undeserving, we are all sinners and in Your eyes ALL sin is unacceptable and cannot be in Your presence. We must repent and ask for your forgiveness constantly and walk in Your ways as best as we can while in this sinful flesh. Pray always and pray for cleansing by the blood of Your precious son Jesus Christ! Thank You Father in Heaven and hold the hands of your children all over this evil world and keep us each and every one safe until the day of Your return. Psalm 91:1-2 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty! I will say of The Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
In the name of Jesus I give thanks!
Remember, these things must come to pass….trust The Lord.
Thanks again Pastor JD!
If many of you are like me you wait on the edge of your seat for JD Farag to upload his prophecy update on Sunday’s! I think he is a terrific pastor even when preaching a regular sermon…not on prophecy. I think there was more to his short prophecy update today. I think everyone should watch his regular sermon for today. I think I had to evaluate things about myself. Maybe I look too forward to that update that I am missing a lot of other things.
Thank you JD!!!
God Bless you all……………
This should get the attention of all Americans!
God have mercy on each of us…praise the name of Jesus!
Are you the last gentile we are waiting for?
If you go to the original post for “Behind the Curtain” dated 2-5-13 you will see I had set out to begin a discussion on a book in the Holy Bible. I did not get any responses so, I will simply share what God revealed to me.
The day I read this I was on my lunch break and asked the Lord to reveal something to me. I took my phone and pulled up one of my many bibles I have downloaded and randomly stopped at this spot and began reading. Not looking for anything in particular I had one of those “God Moments”. I was pulled in. That night I pulled out the old style bible, you know the one with real pages that you turn and they can litterally tear? Sometimes I need the one with pages so I can flip back and forth and simply feel like I can really see everything.
POINTS I PICKED OUT
Verse 3 So she went out and began to glean in the fields behind the harvesters. As it turned out, she found herself working in a field belonging to Boaz, who was from the clan Elimelech. (My opinion is that “as it turned out” was not a coincidense and it was planned that way by God. God will lay a path for us and we simply need to seek Him and trust Him. This passage shows me that He did just that. He was taking care of Ruth.)
Verse 4 Just then Boaz arrived from Bethlehem and greeted the harvesters,….(I do not know but I wonder did Boaz come out every day? Since it says “Just then Boaz arrived”, that makes me think maybe that was another God moment, another instance of perfect timing? Please share your thoughts or knowledge of history.)
Verse 5 and 6 and 7 (Boaz makes a point to ask the foreman just who this woman is. She was noticed. The foreman told of how she asked if she could please work in the field and she had worked hard and steadily all morning.)
Verse 8 and 9 So Boaz said to Ruth, “my daughter, listen to me. Don’t go and glean in another field and don’t go away from here. Stay here with my servant girls. Watch the field where the men are harvesting, and follow along after the girls. I have told the men not to touch ou. And whenever you are thirsty, go and get a drink from the water jars the men have filled.” (Clearly Boaz has went out of his way for this young girl. He made it clear for her to follow along and she could work with his girls and she could get water to drink when thirsty and that HE TOLD THE MEN NOT TO TOUCH HER. I mean he clearly went above and beyond. To me this shows how God clearly used Boaz to give her what she needed and to assure she was also given protection. Verse 10 shows how thankful and humble she was for what he was doing for her. )
If you continue reading you will see that he feeds her and they have further conversation. Boaz is referred to as a man who’s strength is sensitive to those in need, a man of his word, a man of integrity and a good business man. He did clearly show that in this passage. BUT, God led Ruth there. God led her to a place where she “just so happened” to walk onto his field and he “just so happened” to come up at that time and noticed her and asked about her. God took care of her. She was fed and clearly protected from the men who worked there. God worked through Boaz to give her more than she would have expected. God gave her exceedingly more than she would ever have thought.
How many times has the Lord done that for you? How many times has He done it and we never even have a clue of how much more He has allowed us to have? Take the steps and God will make the way. He will provide everything you need.
Praise God! Thank you for your mercy and grace and for your forgiveness. Thank you for loving each of us when not one of us is deserving of it but you love us that much. Thank you, thank you.
Tomorrow I will finish my version of my study I challenged for you all. Today, actually for about 2 weeks I have had this Psalms laid on my heart. It is like an old friend coming home to refresh my mind! Read it. Slowly listen to the words. This is something I read almost daily and as a prayer for the abuse my children and myself lived in. It will bring you peace. Believe every word and if you know someone share it with them and pray it for them. Love you all….
Psalm 91:1-12 –
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the Lord, who is my refuge— then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
Psalm 91:12-16 – they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation. ”
First of all I want to challenge you…ANYONE!
This will be short. I want to start a discussion. I love it when I pray and I randomly find a passage in the bible and God reveals so much more than I expected!
I want to give you a passage and really read it and soak it in and ask God to show you what he wishes and then share it. I will then post what The Lord shared with me.
Ruth 2 : 3-23
John 17:20-23 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. Attention everyone who has come to belief in Christ Jesus: today’s scripture is Jesus praying for you specifically. It is truly unbelievable to think that God the Son is praying with you and I in mind. Jesus asks God the Father to grant us the same relationship that He has with God as His Son. The Holy Spirit is the seal of this prayer – the promise of us being grafted into the love relationship God shares in the Trinity. We are truly with God, and He with us.
