What Have You Read Lately?

Our Savior! He Lives!

The song at the end was posted by “RevelationNow101”.

Revelation 22

1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. 4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. 5 There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

The Time Is Near
6 Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.

” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.
7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book
8 Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
9 Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.” 10 And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. 11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”

Jesus Testifies to the Churches
12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, hand may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

A Warning
18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

I Am Coming Quickly
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Thinking about living for The Lord?

How long will you have to think?
Just one more party?
Just until I am married?
Just until I have sex?
Just until I am 25 and had time to have some fun?

Sorry…too late.

Child, you can have fun while serving The Lord. It is a Godly fun. He wants you to enjoy life and only gives us direction for our safety and so we can have life more abundantly. If you are thinking about it then do it! Seek The Lord while He may still be found. There will be a time when it will be too late.
I feel this urgency to tell you that iHis judgement on this earth is coming quickly!

May God bless you…let us all give thanks and praise the name of Jesus! Amen

What do you think?

Are you finding it hard to live in this world and do what you feel God leads you to do?  I can see where people are confused about the choices they need to make. Things can seem so innocent. I believe people do things not meaning any harm. Next thing you know there you are in the middle of the evil.  Is this why God tells us in the Bible, in his word, that we cannot be friends with the world and still be his?  Can you really walk that line without going over to one side or the other? Makes sense, you can’t be friends with both you can only be hot or cold because when you try to be both you end up luke warm.

What do you think?

Don’t Make it Hard

Maybe it is just me, but I found myself getting all confused in the whole predestined or chosen or called or foreknew or election.

We can hear so many things on this that is it any wonder we may end up letting our ever questioning minds begin doing their thing? Don’t let yourselves be deceived. The devil knows God’s word too and don’t you think otherwise. Gods word says the devil is on the prowl seeking to destroy! (My paraphrasing.) God is not the author of confusion, so when that is occurring it is because you know who is attempting to cause doubt.

Let me also say this. I do not think we have to fully understand everything. I don’t believe it is possible. Isaiah 55 says that His ways are not our ways and His thought are not our thoughts. As the heavens are higher than the earth so are His ways higher than ours and His thoughts higher than ours.

One more thing, in John Chapter 10 Jesus explains that He is the shepherd and His children the sheep. His sheep know His voice and He knows theirs. He says He will lead them and they will follow. How do we know His voice? We must get to know Him. You can start by staying in His word and praying to Him. Seeking Him. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and everything else will be given.

Now, how to keep this simple. In my own thoughts and seeing I started thinking too much about the election, chosen and predestined stuff I had this vision that made it clear to me.

We have a mother and if she calls out that it is time for dinner we make a choice to go home and eat. We may not choose to go and so then we will go hungry. The door may be locked after dark. We know her voice so there is no excuse for not going when she calls out to us. We know where we live, we know where to go. We just have to hear her voice and go. God says those who know Him will also know His voice. If He calls you then you have a choice to follow Him, to go to Him.

If you are like me and you know that you know Him and you do your best to seek Him and follow Him then you need not worry with all the words like predestined and elected and so on. Don’t let the devil try to twist things up and confuse you.

Now, if you do not know The Lord and do not know His voice then I hope you will take this time to pray and ask Him to come into your heart. Seek Him and He WILL show you the way.

Old and New…

2 Timothy 3:14-15
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

One of the beautiful things about Jesus being the “fulfillment of the law” is that the Old Testament points directly to Him as the Messiah. It’s not like we threw out the Old Testament or rewrote it once Jesus hit the scene. The New Testament is added, but remember that both are testaments to the truth of who God is. Knowing the scriptures for so many at this time was serving them well in recognizing the truth of the gospel: the truth of who Jesus was. Holy Spirit, I pray that You would teach us as we read the word of God, and help us to see Jesus in it all.

Time to Purify Watch “Juvenile Hall Lock Up For Kids” on YouTube

1 Peter 1:22-25 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For,“All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.”And this is the word that was preached to you.

Love to you all!
I ask you dear Father to help me love all of your children in all circumstances. Please give me your strength so that I can finish the race you have set before me. So that I be the ambassador you have sent me to be! Thank you Lord! I PRAISE YOUR HOLY NAME! YOU ARE THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS and EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESSTHAT VERY THING. I praise you and glorify your Most High and Most Holy name. You are Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit! You all the same yesterday, today and tomorrow! HOLY,HOLY,HOLY………..THANK YOU DEAR Jesus……

Where is He?

Judges 6:12-13 When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.”  “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian.”

Gideon struggles here with how present the Lord is in his situation. This is one of the most difficult things to keep in mind and believe as we walk with God: that God has not abandoned us. The men do the right thing here and remember that God delivered them out of Egypt, yet their conclusion about abandonment is not founded in faith, but in despair and sorrow. These men feel abandoned, because war is at their doorstep and the odds are severely against them. In difficult times, take heart and remember that God is never far from you.

A message?

You all can read the post prior to this one. I put this verse along with the entire passage. I told you all God had put this verse on my heart for a week or so. I used to pray this when i lived in fear. This FIRST verse i took the time to make it a verse I memorized. I did. This Saturday morning I wake up and it is my verse of the day picked randomly and sent to me….below the verse us the commentary. I know the Lord us sending me a message, could he be speaking to any if you too? Psalm 91:1-2 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Shelter, stronghold, refuge, and fortress are all used to describe God throughout the different translations of today’s verse. Lord, we are so very grateful that we are able to run to you in Christ Jesus. You stand firm, arms wide open, ready to receive us and poised to protect us with your infinite might. Help us realize Lord that we are stronger when we run to you. Holy Spirit, lead us to the “secret place of the Most High” (NKJV) and intercede for us when we cannot find the words. In the name of Jesus, Amen. Verse/Commentary courtesy of ‘Verse-A-Day’ android app. http://www.verse-a-day.com/Apps
