Who Are We To Watch For?

First I want to say we are to pray ALWAYS  and to watch.   Not watch TV, but watch the things happening in the world around us.   Compare our news to scripture.   We can easily know the closeness of the coming of Jesus Christ.

We need to be looking for Jesus Christ. Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope,  and the glorious appearing of tge great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

This video started out with me thinking,  ok, here is someone telling us who the antichrist is.  I am not saying everything he says is absolutely riggt, but I prayed about it and I did find a lot of what he said to at least be very interesting and especially the last part to be very humbling and should make us all more repetitive.   It did me. So, watch it, take or leave the first part, but heed the last part of it for sure.  We can take away example of living on these last days.

God bless all of my brothers and sisters in the Lord Christ Jesus!

Seeking to Listen and Understand and Obey

Ezekiel 2:1-2
And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.  And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.

Commentary
When he was called to be a prophet, Ezekiel has a vision of the “likeness of the glory of the Lord”. This completely drains his strength and he falls facedown. Then the Lord speaks to Him this verse, and as it is being spoken, Ezekiel is provided the strength to stand and hear the word of the Lord. In Christ we are granted the Holy Spirit, and rest assured that there is real power and strength that comes with His residence within us. He is able to strengthen, to counsel, to teach and to convict us. With the Spirit of God living in us, we are able to be ambassadors for Christ, messengers of the gospel, bearers of the living water that is found only in Jesus.

Who Are You?

Something to ponder on.

  • First,in verse 1 we are to give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good.  (Ask yourself,  who do you say He is?  Try to begin to write down all of the mercies   or perhaps only some of the mercies He has extended to you. Then, again after you have done that, ask again: who do you say that He is?)
  • Next we read ‘Let the REDEEMED of the Lord say so’. Now ask yourself this question. Who do you say the redeemed are?  Why do you believe what you have just written down about who the redeemed are?
  • Lastly,  are you one of the redeemed?

Psalms 107:1-2

O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good:

For his mercy endureth for ever.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,

Whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

And God Said

Genesis 1:14 (KJV)  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Boldness (Acts 4:13)

We can each one ask for boldness and even the least of us can be used by God to serve His purposes.   Are you walking in boldness today?  I prayed that by the power of God Almighty I might walk in His power and be bold for Him and His righteousness!   Thank You Lord Jesus.

Acts 4:13

<

p class=”text” style=”color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;line-height:normal;”>Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

“WHAT HAPPENS WHEN GODLESS PRESIDENTS ATTEMPT TO DIVIDE GODS LAND?”

I  will only say that I don’t believe in coincidences!
Read the book of Ruth,  do you think any of the orchastration in that story was by chance?   I think not because ends up they  are King David’s great grandparents!   God is awesome and let’s never forget who is still on the throne!   Praise the name of the Lord!

Humble Ourselves and Pray

1 Peter 1:17-19
Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear.  For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors,  but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

COMMENTARY
There is a certain amount of fear that should be present in our lives, and that guides how we live. This fear, in some translations referred to as “reverence”, is “the fear of the Lord”. Because of who our God is, this fear is NOT crippling, damaging, or oppressive. This is not the fear that you feel when you watch a movie filled with horror or terror. We are not trapped by this fear, we are set free to live for God and this appropriate fear of the Lord instructs us on how we should live. The “fear of the Lord” will inform your life, led by the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Jesus!

Created or Evolved? Which are You?

WARNING. ..WARNING. ..WARNING

Are you a proclaimed atheist?   What will you say when you stand before your Creator?   7 minutes…watch,  listen,  take a chance. Ask God the Father in Heaven to lift the veil from your eyes if He is real!

What have you got to lose if I  am wrong?

What will you gain if I am right?

Just as I cannot see or know your good or your bad thoughts, there is one who already knows everything about you.  More than even you know yourself.

Why does God open our eyes on one day and yet you cried out many times before and got crickets?   I asked that same question many times in my own life.  Sometimes we don’t know that answer.  I don’t fully understand it concerning my own life.   Maybe I really wasn’t ready when I cried out in need before.  Maybe for me it was more of a process of getting to the place where you know that you know that you know. Some people seem to just be changed immediately and others like me need a slower molding process.  Mold put on the fire and heat me up and mold me a little more and heat me up and mold me a little more.

I don’t have to know why because I trust the Lord God knows way more about what He is doing than I do. I clearly screw things when left to my own devices.

What is Your Heart Desire?

I only want the desires of my heart to link up with what the Lord God knows to be best for His plan.  My own desires can often not be what is good for me in the long run.

Matthew 7:7-12

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Time is Ticking

Malachi 3:16-18
Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name.  “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him.  And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.
COMMENTARY
Fear and trembling accompany today’s promise: Our Father in Heaven is compassionate and will spare those who “feared the Lord and honored his name”. (NIV) It is made very clear also that there will be a distinction between the righteous and the wicked. Do not lose sight of the fact that our only hope of righteousness lies in faith in the Son of God; that is Christ Jesus. Romans 3:22-23: “This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. (NIV)

God Cannot Do That

image

Many of you know that my title is only  referring to the STUPID article that was put out a week ago about how praying to God wouldn’t stop this.  Oh ye of little faith is what I say to that.    Hebrews11:6 says…
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.

Luke 1:39-45
At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea,  where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth.  When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.  In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear!  But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?  As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.  Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”

COMMENTARY
Mary goes to greet Elizabeth right after the angel Gabriel reveals to her that she will give birth to God’s Son as a virgin. Yet another miraculous prophecy is fulfilled immediately when Mary greets Elizabeth; and that is that Elizabeth and John (Elizabeth’s unborn son) are filled with the Holy Spirit. When this happens, Elizabeth immediately begins to speak truth that affirms everything told to Mary. Each woman blesses and supports the other in a time where both need exactly that. Our God is truly faithful and amazing! Believe God for the impossible!

Thank You Jesus – Lord God Almighty!

Micah 7:18
Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.

Commentary
Lord, we praise you. Your offer of forgiveness extends to even the most wandering soul, and your justified anger relents because of your great mercy. Thank you Jesus for meeting us all where we are. You are the loving usher of our souls, and eternal life is only found in You. May the knowledge and experience of your majesty purify our hearts, and press the gospel from our lips. As a child holds fast to their parent, so we cling to you, Oh God. You are everything, the source of our very breath. Let Your love flood through us, changing and saving lives. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
