Joshua 24:15

It seems to be the way many are headed today. What? Down the wrong path. Pastors are leading many to eternal damnation and not eternal life. In the book of Jude we read in verse 4 that many will be in the churches that will try to tear the children of the Lord apart and cause division and lead many in the wrong way. (I PARAPHRASED THAT). I find it interesting that it says, long ago many were designated for this condemnation. God warned us about everything. We have to pull ourselves away from the things of this world and make time for Him and His word so that we are not deceived and we know the truth when we hear it.

We seem to have a huge movement saying there are many ways to get to Heaven. There is more than one way to God. NO, THERE ISN’T!

We must be careful and not go with the flow. We are responsible too. We cannot blame not knowing the truth is the fault of someone else or because of our pastor. They WILL answer to the Lord themselves for leading the flock the wrong way. We will also have to stand before the Son of Man and we will have to answer why we didn’t know we were being deceived. You see, if we are reading the Bible, the words of the Lord God, and we are following its instruction and are praying to our Father in heaven and are seeking Him and His righteousness and His divine wisdom. IF we are doing these things will we not know the truth when we hear it? Will we not know when we are hearing lies from the pulpit? Yes, it means you may have to separate yourself from friends and family who are following false doctrine. Sometimes the path to the Lord God feels lonely. God is with us and you are not alone. You will find others along the path, it simply seems a path less traveled. That is because it is.

REMEMBER, there’s but one way to the Father in heaven and we are each responsible to know when we are on the wrong path. We each must choose whom it is we will serve. If you are unsure then cry out to God and ask Him to reveal Himself to you, to reveal His truth to you. To open your eyes and ears to see and hear the truth according to Him and not man. He will not withhold the truth, or His wisdom from any who seek Him and pray and ask for His guidance.

And me and every single one of us.

What?
How do we help the hurting?
How do we help our brothers and sisters who are living in more fear than we can fathom?
They are watching their children get raped.
They are watching their children get buried alive.
They are watching their loved ones get CUT INTO PIECES.
They are watching people get their heads cut off.
They are watching people be burned alive.
They are watching people get crucified!
I am ANGRY.
I think many were in the beginning but now I wonder if most of America is growing numb to yet one more thing?
Look at the movies our kids and many adults are watching. The ad on my phone is showing….’the Lazarus Effect…Evil will rise in theaters 2/27′. Look at the games they are playing! Wake the HELL up! Sorry, but it must be said and shouted to maybe get the attention of ONE MORE PERSON.
Are we all standing still and if you are watching and listening to our leader of the free world…if you are living in another country and you also believe in the One True God. If you believe in Jesus Christ and if you believe the word of God written in the good book, the Holy Bible. I wonder if our brothers and sisters are wondering when this nation will REALLY come to their aide? The nation that sends in people to rescue the people during a catastrophe. We give billion of aide to help other nations. What are we doing? Must be fearful to them because I know it is terrifying when I hear our president compare Christians to this Islam terrorist ideology. Why is he comparing what is happening NOW in the Middle East to what was happening with the Christian Crusades….MANY, MANY years ago? We are talking about now not then.

Ok,to my point. If you cannot see the writing on the wall then let me leave you with a couple of verses to dwell on.

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 24:14-15
“Now, therefore, fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
