Pain On the Outside but Renewal On the Inside

2 Corinthians 4:13-18

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Commentary

Our eternal perspective as believers is vital to our witness for Christ throughout our lives. We must remember verse 17 during our “light and momentary troubles”. This helps us not lose heart, but grow in faith and continue in worship to a God who is, and always will be…worthy.

“Powerful Warning to America! (2018-2019)”

Isaiah 51:7-8 KJVS
Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.

[8] For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

THE GREAT PASSION PLAY — “I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG”

I stumbled upon this.   In 2013 or around there the Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs Arkansas was about to close.   I think this must have been like a fundraiser.   This 6 minutes is worth listening to.  Takes you back to the basics of what the Pledge of Allegiance is about.

John Haller Prophecy Update Really Speeding Up November 27, 2016

Must watch.

Warned, God is Good

There is really nothing to say.   Nothing to add.  It is perfect.   God had and still has a perfect plan.  God clearly loves His creation.  He is more than a loving parent who tries to guide their child in the way they should go, in the way that us best for them.  A way to protect them.  Just as our children decide they know best and rebel and refuse to listen,  we do the same.  When will our loving Father decide He is finished and isn’t warning us again?   When will He say, ‘now they will know, as I am finished warning and consequences have begun’.?

I am wondering if He has just said it?  Enough.

His love and plan and warnings are so clear in the the posted scripture.

Turn to the Lord today, now if you haven’t already.  The door is shutting.

I love you all.

Hope?  Have You Looked at What is Happening Around You?

1 Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the HOPE that is in you with meekness and fear:

How can we have hope. I  know more days than not it is tough to find it and hang onto it throughout the day.  Holding onto it simply for your own sanity without trying to put a smile on your face and convincing others you have hope!  Right? Can anyone relate to what I am saying?

Well, first off we have NO HOPE if we are looking to this messed up world to provide it for us.  This place gets more hopeless by the day!  We first must know God!   We must know His word and seek Him daily.

Let’s see what the infallible word of God has to say regarding hope.

1 Thessalonians 2:19

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

I find it interesting that in the verse just before 19, the end of verse 18 it says….

But Satan hindered us.

Paul is telling his brothers and sisters that he would have come to them to continue to encourage them and help them but he has been hindered by Satan and that this was temporary and he cannot be with them in presence but HE IS WITH THEM IN HEART.

THEN, he asks for what is our HOPE, or joy, or crown of rejoicing?   THEN he asks, are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?

I glean from this that our HOPE is not in our ever changing circumstances of our lives where we may find ourselves or those we love being hindered by Satan for a brief time.  NO, NO, our HOPE is in KNOWING we will be in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming.

Do you believe He is coming?  If you do then that is certainly our hope.  If you don’t believe it then you need to begin by asking the Lord to help you in your unbelief.  Ask Jesus Christ to show you,  to teach you,  to reveal Himself to you as only He can.

Let’s see what else the word of God has to say.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have NO HOPE.

For IF we BELIEVE that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore COMFORT one another with these words.

YES…YES, brothers and sisters!   Now that is the HOPE I am talking about!   We cannot expect to have hope in the things we see around us in this world,  but if we keep our minds on the things above we can have hope knowing the Lord God WILL do what He has said He would do!

1 Thessalonians 5:8-11

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the HOPE  of SALVATION.

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to OBTAIN SALVATION by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

<

p style=”font-weight:bold;”>Wherefore COMFORT  YOURSELVES TOGETHER , and EDIFY ONE ANOTHER, even as also ye do.

ENDING WITH THESE WORDS.

Colossians 3:1-4

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Colossians 3:13

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Colossians 3:15-16

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Where Did the Word Come From?

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

A Promised Blessing

John 13:15-17
I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.  Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.  Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

Word of God Speak

Jonah 2:8

Those who pay regard to vain idols forsake their hope of steadfast love.

God, I Still Trust You Even Though…

Through hard times in my life I have learned this.

1 THESSALONIANS  5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.☺

SO…giving thanks for EVERYTHING,  in ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.   That is a hard concept. The first several times I was experiencing something seemingly bad BUT, chose to get on my knees and pray and thank the Lord for ‘this’ thing that was happening.  I had to laugh when thanking Him for it.  It sounded ludicrous.  Because God knows our hearts I didn’t pretend I was thinking this was great.  I talked to the Lord & would say that I thanked Him and trusted Him that it is for the best even if I couldn’t see it right then.  I quoted His word back to Him.
I am to give thanks in ALL things…this means not JUST THE THINGS WE THINK ARE GREAT and make us happy.  ALL things means all things.

ROMANS 8:28
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. AND

HEBREWS 11:1
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

All of these scriptures go hand in hand in my mind. Our faith is built not be having everything always working out just the way we think or want, easily.  BUT Instead by having things that throw us a curve ball.  Things that try our faith with trials and hardships.  And EVEN THOUGH we go through the fire, we grow stronger in our faith when we thank Him and trust Him and keep walking with Him expecting the best.
When it is the hardest to do, I usually CRY exceedingly before the Lord as I am in real distress, but nevertheless will trust in Him.
Praise the Lord God!

John Haller Prophecy Update: Strong Delusion March 27th, 2016

I will say that I believe it to be very important to watch at least from 39 minute mark. A couple of minutes in that spot might make you think you have already heard it but it is important as John Haller continues with the next segment on whom he met.
